But very close to the worst forum topic I've ever seen here...

Maybe the topic could be saved if it could somehow be elided into a set up for a joke series.....

"Boy, that puzzle was Bad!" .... "How Bad Was it?" .... "That puzzle was So Bad ........"

(Example of punchline:  ... "That puzzle was So Bad that just this afternoon --- and hand to God, this is True! --- this afternoon, I saw a Squirrel in Central Park tell Another Squirrel: "Wow! That was a really bad puzzle!")

(Of course, that was just a Sample punchline ........)

The point of OP's puzzle is to teach you how to play a beginner: don't screw up, and then wait for him to hang his queen.
