Still, for the first move in this puzzle, for example, Rf1 works as well as O-O.

Well this puzzle for sure, but I agree the tactics trainer is too rigid. It's still a wonderful tool, but I get frustrated when I make a move and am then told it's wrong when I can see the "correct" move is just a variation.
