TOUCH MOVE

Touch move is when you touch a piece you have to move it.

True, usually that's the way you play in almost every chess game in real almost and here.

(insert comment that makes me go to juvie)

Of all the otb game I have played ,all of which are friendly games, I have only used the touch move rule once! And only with aspiring wannebie tournament players!

It is a requirement in OTB tournament games, all right.

It's only a requirement if your opponent calls it out.

Who wouldn't? (in a tournament)

I once had someone put me in checkmate with his queen, leave their hand on the piece, take it back, think for a few minutes, then move another piece that stalemated me. 

I let him get away with it :)

I've seen people disregard touch move all the time. Either because they forget, or they're just being nice. I'd only do that if I was already winning by a bunch.
