Looks like fun!
Try the "Chessboard Sudoku" puzzles!

Looks like fun!
Glad you think so! Please give them a shot and let me know what you think. For a teaser, here is a screenshot of the easiest of the bunch, in which only pawns have moved. White pawns moved UP in number (that is, from a 1 to a 2, or from a 6 to a 7), and Black pawns moved DOWN (from 9 to 8, or 4 to 3). Adding in the digits that you can figure out from there (and you guys can certainly do THAT!) will give you enough to solve the Sudoku!

What had been called "Steinitz Sudoku" has been renamed to hopefully better convey what it's about to those out there unlike us who don't know chess personalities.
For those who haven't seen my earlier posts under its old name, Chessboard Sudoku puzzles have a chess game overlaid on a Sudoku grid. The chore is to determine which digits go into the grid's solution by deducing the paths that the chess pieces on the board followed to reach their current positions, and solving Mate in X problems to know where they would move next.
It's a great mix of, and exercise for, your chess skills and your Sudoku skills.
There are some very easy training puzzles, with instructional hints, to ease you into the swing of these. I really hope you try and enjoy them.

I look forward to any and all feedback!
