FYI, I get them via the editor by dragging the whole tray of pieces onto the board as opposed to individual pieces. Simply adding a "w" (or any other character not representing a piece) to your FEN on the sqaure where you want the red dot to appear seems to work as well.

Well, there are no red dots, they're the little white box with a red X in them when something in code isn't loaded properly. And on your diagram, Grobe, I see them at B4 and F6.

easy to solve, once you figure out that both kings are trapped. Unique look though, because most players are always looking to make a queen with their pawn, the idea is few a far between of using any other piece, the puzzle reminds you of the that.
Is there invisible pieces in this one?
