Are you sure about this puzzle? White can win a bishop, but probably not a queen.

what if after white does Bxc6 black does Bxc6 instead of using the pawn.

Well, if the goal of the puzzle is to win a queen, but it's impossible to force it, then yeah...it kinda matters.

You should always check your puzzles with an engine to make sure that it really works. In your puzzle, White cannot win the queen. A computer will instantly point out tactical flaws. For example, many of the tactics trainer puzzles on this website are checked with an engine like Fritz.
