cute puzzle, I believe I solved it. Black has a few ways to react, but I think its a forced mate in 3.
1 Rf5+! gxf5 2 Bf7#
1 Rf5+! Qg5 2 Qh7+ Kg4 3 Rg4#
1 Rf5+! Ng5 2 Qh7+ Kg4 3 Rg4#
1 Rf5+! Kg4 2 h3+ Kg3 3 Rf3#

zealouspawn:
just a little correction
1 Rf5+! Kg4 2 Re5#
2 Re5 is check, not mate. I got similar lines to zealouspawn (think he means finishes with 3. Rf4#, not 3. Rg4# in the middle two lines).
I got
1 Rf5+! Kg4 2 Qxg6+ Qg5 (or Ng5) 3 Rf3#
instead of
1 Rf5+! Kg4 2 h3+ Kg3 3 Rf3#
heres a slightly different variation. i think others were faster though. 1. g4+ Kg5 2. Rf5+ Kxg4 3. Qxg6+ Qg5 4. Rg4#
someone let me know if there is a fault in this.
thanx

Think you mean 4.Rf4#, which works.

Nice work, but you missed some other lines
1. g4+ hxg3 2. Qh7+ Kg5 3. h4# is a nice line, initially ruled it out thinking the pawn could be taken en passent, but a pawn can only be taken en passent if the pawn can be captured by another pawn if it were to move only one square ahead and this is not the case here.
Here is the sequence below, check move list below.

Mokechoke was somehow disappointed with players who doesn't play honorably, Elbeasto was taken aback by rude players and Tarius78 won several times against LCP.
So, I tried my hand on playing against the computer (LCP), well, less pressure and it really brings out the juices in me. I can have my snack and eat it, too, while playing. (lol)
it may sound bragging on my part, but hey, a newbie winning against a computer with a word of caution that says "he doesn't mess around!' gave me a sense of achievement.
Anyway, I was a major piece down (rook) and I believe it is just my persistence and racked my brains out to beat the computer (LCP) that I came out with the winning combination.
I will rate this as advanced (1500 rating) chess puzzle, not beginner but not master, okay!
The very least is, I want to share it with you, people! Have fun!
