I know he shares a birthday with every horse, January 1st.
My 65th is in a week, and I blunder so often that I still feel I haven't reached adulthood.

@hatepin ...how is work and leisure not practicing becoming an adult? Work is the very pinacle of adulthood, it is what we are bred and raised for, the very thing that makes us good adults is slaving away in a responsable manner to achieve nothing but getting the means to raise another worker army for small elite groups to exploit.
Then there is leisure, I spend most my leisure time on adult internet sites, how is that not adult!? The sites even contain the word ‘adult’
no,sir, your theory lacks credibility and some other stuff that would make it hold water.
we often hear how it takes 10,000 hours for a chess player to become a master, or, even good. this random number is referenced in other disciplines.
but, how long does it take to become an adult? is it three months? six months? six years? sixty years? if we apply the 10,000 hour standard, it is about 15 months. i have recently engaged with many of these people. they tell me they have been very studious and practicing the whole time to become an adult.
so, what is the length of time it tales to become an adult?
i hope to read responses from six month olds that have studied, sixteen year olds that have dedicated their life to becoming an adult, and sixty year olds that may provide a glimpse of what adulthood is.
a citation-this topic was started by me reading a puppethead that reached the realm of chess master. still unsure how old he is, though.
