Do you remember that summer in 1996 how wherever you were, be it a ShopKo or a Blockbuster Video, Alanis Morisette’s Ironic was playing on an overhead radio? Or there was a radio somewhere, in a car, or at work, playing it? It was a great song, but more than any other in the past 30 years ago, it seemed to be the soundtrack to the entire Earth for that little slice of time.
