When I worked at Nellis AFB we were working in a fenced in area that had perimeter lighting that we were replacing. In that area were hundreds of bunkers that contained nuclear weapons and at times a few unmarked semi trucks and quite a few unmarked vans would show up to move weapons.
While we were working we were always escorted by a couple of Air Force guards and when the trucks and vans showed up we had to go to a windowless building to sit out the movement.
Okay so the point all this is we all got paid for sitting on our ass's to do nothing for 2 or 3 hours.
Not in a government building. I don't smoke but some of the guys did.
