Aborted Game

As I pressed on a button to go to <next> game the message displayed <this player aborted the game>
 Unfortunately I do not know which player it is. Also, if a player has aborted should I not get the rating points added as if I had won the game? It, in my mind, is the same as resigning unless the game has not started yet. But this had been a game ein play.

I would appreciate your opinions and maybe a reference to the rules in an instance like this.
 

I often have the communication gap. This is not my business but this is called <you aborted the game>. OHhh... I always lose my ranking in this point. But this is chess 

No Mikado, I did not abort the game. The opponent aborted the game. In fact he/she removed his/her profile off the site it seems. 

I just feel that I should get the ratings for winning the game as the opponent effectively resigned regardless of the reasons. Don't you think?

Just I said about myself. Sometimes I have to interrupt the game, but it is to blame prblemy connection. And for example, I was able to play with you. And if I had to interrupt the game, but it is to blame prblemy connection.

I think you should not worry and just play again and again.

Rating doesn't matter that much at this level, since none of us are super GMs. It just helps to match you with other players at about the same level. If you deserve to be rated higher, you'll win some games and your rating will go up.
