Threads like this encourage people to spam, so the desired number of comments can be met quickly, whether you want everyone to spam or not.

This is probably going to get closed as well, and could result in you getting a warning. Plus, it could make some people think it's okay to spam in some (public) threads just because the thread creator said so. I'd just write the essay and make a thread about it after completion, rather than making fifteen locked threads. It takes up moderators' time when they could be getting rid of trolls and abusers, but they're locking the same thread on repeat. I don't mean for this to sound rude, by the way.
