Meat actually makes you smarter, healthier, etc... so not eating mean is dumb

Thanks!  I've always wondered why I'm so dumb but I was never smart enough to figure it out on my own.

Slip me the fatback, Jack,
Roast me some ham, Sam,
Pass me the meat, Pete.
And set yourself free (but not fat-free).

You forgot the bacon Aiken

Slice the sausage Paige

Serve the pepperoni Tony

Processed food won't disagree (with inflammation you'll see)

Aww bat babies.  So much cuter than baby Yoda.  Also a reservoir of SARS.

Eating bats in Wuhan is l suspected to be the source of Corona Virus.

The civet cat, not a bat, was the source of SARS.

Why are they called Guinea pigs? They look like rats or pygmy bunnies to me?

Avatar of the_chess_zebra

Because when they were imported from South America to England by the Spanish conquistadors in 1575, they were advertized as cute little animals for sale with the price of 1 guinea and squeak like pig happy.png

"In late 2017, Chinese scientists traced the virus through the intermediary of civets to cave-dwelling horseshoe bats in Yunnan province."

Which ever. Wuhan residents love eating exotic cuisine. I eat commercial meat only excluding goats, sheeps and ducks.

Just to clarify CoV has been around for some time,  even being a cause of the common cold.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coronavirus

So what we're dealing with now is a particular strain SARS-CoV-2.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Severe_acute_respiratory_syndrome_coronavirus_2

Also note that your source says

"Right now, pigs, civets, and pangolins are thought to be the most likely potential intermediary hosts."

Ozzie once tried to save humans from SARS.  Never was the same after that.

Maybe humans can take One of the animals off the menu. I propose Beef be the first. Cattle raising consumes huge lands and plants and most nonecofriendly IMO.

Shi ma?

I also propose One animal be off the hunting list. Since the Bunny is our friend, I want the Bunny off the hunting list. But another animal protests.

It's a matter of perspective.   We're one and the same.
