I have a difficult time with the concept of animal intelligence. I can see behaviors that look like intellect-driven decisions.

I have the same problem with humans. They look like they're making "intellect-driven decisions", but it's usually just an illusion. Animals are more trustworthy on that account, in my view;)

no law anywhere that says rabbits can wear size 10 shoes! you  can leave big footprints just like everybody else

I wonder if I'll catch the flu now that I posted in the same thead?

Then what are computer viruses?

Avatar of Feufollet

some computer viruses are spread via certain threads in chess.com forums...especially ones where you see rabbit footprints all over them...

It starts getting confusing for me here: "The Hamiltonian Path Problem asks whether there is a route in a directed graph from a beginning node to an ending node, visiting each node exactly once."Laughing

Avatar of trysts

So basically these nodes are trying to sell me something?

Avatar of trysts

TrueLaughing

Avatar of Feufollet

yes...that is how viruses operate.the only visit the nodes once....that's why you can't get infected twice by the same virus...

Avatar of Feufollet

but if you have no nodes on your computer...no visits by viruses...simple solution...except for those darned bunnies

Avatar of trysts

Maybe the same viruses are in disguise?

Avatar of Feufollet

but, of course, trysts! I think you're on to something there.

I never thought of it that way

could be, could be...I saw an interesting talk on TED...about parasites controlling their hosts from inside via the nervous system...their hosts are mere zombies doing the parasite's bidding

I saw that in Star Trek: Wrath of Khan.Wink

Avatar of Feufollet

wow...that was so long ago...I don't even remember what it was about...did it have something to do with Khan being angry?
