What is going on here ! Yet again another disgusting thread is allowed to appear on the of topic forums, this time over the size of a persons penis . People who post such filth, should be banned, and the thread deleted,and not just locked

Moderators do not have the power to delete threads. They try not to take action specifically in off topic, Since most of the people are untouchble by premium, and since most threads aren't terrible. So for the most part off-topic miscreants are untouched until erik allows moderatos to ban and mute premium members. Since they do not want to bother staff with bullying ad swearing they just lock the topics. And warn the members to no avail. Since they have premium and they know it. Since staff does not have the time to look at a member's post for the past month, they remain untouched. That's why in 2 years and chess.com can hire me,I'm gonna ask erik about it.

They don't delete it because it serves as an example of what will NOT be accepted,  in case other new members we're thinking about it.

Not true, lots of paying members are banned. They get away with a bit more, but a plain violation of rules will result in a thread lock or worse.

Only staff can delete threads.

Moderators cannot ban or mute premium. Only staff can and again most of the time they do not have time to look at all he evidence.
