After so many years of waiting, it finally happened.

I got an Ari advertisement on chess.com.

When I was scrolling through the forums like any usual day, I saw this beautiful woman on the side of my screen. Instead of checking my OTFDAN thread with about 2000 notifications, I was so swooned by this advertisement. It took me a second to realize that this was my beautiful wife and pop sensation, Ariana Grande! I watched the amazing ad until it went away and advertised a website builder like usual.

After so many years of begging the staff, spamming messages to @Erik, sending in “support” tickets, and so much more, chess.com ads seem to be moving in the right direction. Ads like these will keep members of the community engaged (Maybe a bit too much), and players will continue to use the platform. The only problem I could see with this is people not buying memberships, since that would remove advertisements and not allow them to see Ari’s swexy presence every few ads.

I’m not exactly sure if this is a trap to get me to continue actively posting on these forums for hours a day, but it’s certainly working. I hope to see more of Ariana Grande in the chess.com advertisements as a thank u (, next) to me for staying here for almost two years. Thank you so much, chess.com, and whoever made this possible. You guys are the real heroes in this world. Or even better, the eternal sunshines that brighten the world.

Basix, just get a 5000 Hz 20x10 monitor next to ur screen playing Ari all day long
