I recently dropped to 100 elo due to me not being able to complete my daily games.
I had five games set up on a 24 hour time limit with various players, however I was unable to complete the games due to losing my internet for 36 hours and because of this all five games were counted as losses causing me to drop to 100 elo as a result.
whilst I understand that it isn't the fault of the site of my opponents I also feel like I am better then this rating but I am worried that now I have timed out on so many games ( due to unfortuately circumstances in my life ) that it will now be difficult to climb the ranks quickly ( due to the fact I will now only be gaining a smaller amount for each game. )
Is it worth closing the account or am I over-reacting?
Glad to help. Anything over 100 Glicko, your rating bounces up and down like a gymnast on a trampoline. Under 50, it's more like a fat man's belly when he's taking a nap in a hammock.
I wasn't sure where to post this but here I go.
