Auto Racing

Tomorrow will be the running of the Daytona 500, NASCAR's biggest event and the start to the season. This lead me to wonder, how many motorsports fans are there on chess.com? So, list the autosport you watch, and your favorite driver(s).

I have been a NASCAR fan since I was very young, and grew up a fan of Dale Earnhardt. When he passed away, I was a Dale Jr. fan for a while, but now don't really have a driver. I root for a couple of favorites- Mark Martin, Tony Stewart, even that wretched kid Kyle Busch- but wouldn't really sport a hat with any of their numbers on it. I'm just a through and through fan of the sport.

I've also been an Indycar fan on and off for a while. My favorite drivers are Graham Rahal (who I watched win the Atlantic series race in Cleveland) and (RIP) Dan Wheldon.

I also used to watch a lot of Formula 1, and was a Sebastien Vettel fan. Ayrton Senna is one of my favorite drivers in any sport ever.

Im not a big fan, but with the international players here i would imagine there would be alot of formula 1 fans. my understanding is its like soccer in popularity.

I love NASCAR!  My favorite driver is Dale Earnhardt Jr.
