I heard that the first ever book published on chess opening theory was in cave painting form - from 200,000 years BP... It took up an entire cave system apparently. :-)
Since the beginning of time man has always been fasinated by chess. Even the dinosoars played. You know cavemen they used rocks but they still played... smart people. If you are interested in hearing more stay tune to the beginning of time episodes.
