Foolish titles

I am not involved in this argument. I have no idea whether this member is Citizenoftheorld or not, nor am I concerned. I do know that Cretinwiz posted comments in my Rusdie thread calling me a moron and other things which have mysteriously disappeared completely, not simply deleted, this does make me wonder if he is able to 'hack' as other members have claimed.

 I shall not be changing my postion as I have no interest in becoming further involved in this strange internet battle.

 I wish you well and hope this issue is resolved amicably.

Cretin's posts would have disappeared because staff closed his account for a day.. it was reopened the next day, so his comments no doubt have reappeared. 

Whenever staff close an account, all messages and notes vanish.. whenever a member closes their account themselves, the messages and notes remain visible.

Why? He didn't do anything.

No worries Trag55. Yes, it WAS closed, but is reopened. 

Staff obviously agree with that conclusion. :)

there is one guy - itude - who keep making theatrical posts about calling police ect. because this troll - thecretinwizofold - supposedly hacks accounts and keeps bothering people :D

it is like a reality show :D (only much more entertaining because we know them)

 I'm a bit leery of participating in this sort of 'game', I've received a fair bit of abuse for standing up for Israel which is very much a minority view here, I have made my own glaring mistake with the absurd initial title to this thread. Overall I would prefer to discuss things rationally rather than become involved in personal attacks.

 Itude seems a nice bloke, he certainly has been alarmed by this whole episode, does one person have 3 or 4 accounts, does he intend to alarm and upset others, but, most importantly, do I really care?

 I'm not qualified to have an opinion, unlike chess_kebabs I don't know the protaganists in this spat, I'm staying on the side-lines before I attract anymore vitriol.

Watch out - in OD they often go down to personal attacks in controversial topics.

The thread title was no problem since it was merely badly worded. No harm done.

BTW: It would be good if it was possible to change the name of the thread so one doesn't need to contact staff to change it for him.

You can change the name of threads you started by going to your Home Page and clicking on Manage all Content at the bottom of the page. I just discovered that yesterday.
