You’d have had fun door dashing in this beauty. 2015 Lexus RC-F with performance package. Drive it to work, stop at local tracks and run some hot laps, great days!
I could nurse 30mpg out of the 500hp V8, but on track days it would get 4mpg. I could run two sessions then had to go fill the tank.
After reading all of it I am deeply offended that Im being used as an automobile but I agree

The automobile is one the best machines there is! The fact that you can sit in it and make it move you wherever you want in any direction is just beautiful. One of the most ingenious pieces of engineering that there is! Cars are just the most beautiful pieces of technology there ever was! Every aspect of a vehicle, those perfect pedals, smooth steering wheel, lovely gear shift, aerodynamic windshield, everything just so logically and practically complementing each other for the easiest way to travel..driving. That powerful smell of gasoline at the pump and satisfying sound of it filling up (something an electric car will never have), The whole complex yet so simple engine design, transmission so you can so easily change gears and drive efficiently and smoothly, those perfectly circular tires that just roll down that road carrying the whole car and you with it!!! All those fun displays like your speed and tachometer..when they are digital they really make your car look high tech, like one of those star trek shuttle crafts! The fact that you can just get in and close the door and grip a wheel and push that pedal and just start moving is beautiful. That you can sit back and cruise hundreds of miles in your own little comfortable private personal safe space that you have almost total control over...beats any form of mass transit 10x over. And the car is complemented by all those gorgeous blue and red interstate highway signs painted on that beautiful green road sign background, so lovely. 😍 The fun of flooring it down the highway is just unbeatable. And the fact that they shield you from bad weather and give you a place to sleep if necessary is also amazing. Cars are the perfect little beautiful speed machines of the human race. Driving is such an art and a science that most people dont realize that commuting to their jobs, the driving is like their 2nd career. Cars Cars CARS!!!
