There are ways to get around hardware bans, but he'd need to be pretty technically knowledgeable to do them.

It's also not really very feasible to do a hardware ban on a browser-based site that doesn't install software on your device. Web browsers intentionally limit the information they give about you to a website for privacy and security reasons.
It's a little more practical for a mobile app, since that does involve downloading and installing software. Again, there are ways to circumvent that, but it does require some level of technical knowledge.

Yes, that’s usually how it works. Though nowadays, I do my best to not post on useless threads. But in this instance, I did think it was worth noting how easy it was not to talk to this clear troll.
