I need tips & Tricks &. advices on how to restore a chess board.
It’s a hollow wooden board?
(Bought it at thrift store) and White square has a dent. It’s a nice board for such a price.
I can literally restore it and sell it for 10x the price… But no. I want to keep it and keep it as a project.

Great project. i just weighted some old hollow plastic pieces with Durham's water putty. Will add felt or leather on bottom and then paint. . Main thing is to start slow with any wood restoration.

For sure. My uncle told me sand it, and then paint it. I saw a video. Which you clean the whole board, sand the whole board, then add some solution to restore the colors, (give it like a pop) then beeswax. Or Sand it then paint with some wood stain color then add the special long term solution
