Someone wise once said "Ours is not to reason why, ours is but to do or die."

Once you factor in weird things like the popularity of reality shows like the Kardashians (sp?) and this includes Kanye West, believing that outlawing straws will save the planet, and the addiction to an inanimate object that costs society the ability of young people to critically think, it's obvious that those words are the exact OPPOSITE of what we should be doing!

This has been a public service announcement. Now back to our regular programming.

I don't see the benefit of straws except for Slurpees and bubble teas and ... Ok.

I'm however a big fan of plastic bags. wet grocery shopping with public transport becomes almost impossible without it. Always keep a neatly folded one in my back pocket. If it rains, I just put the bag over my head providing me shelter and others inexplicably immense entertainment.

I think carlin was also pro plastic.

Plastic gives us purpose.

Plastic has revolutionized our modern way of life. So many things are possible because of plastics. Paper straws are horrible, they get ruined in the liquid every time...

Heehee, sorry, with that kind of headline was I expected to NOT post this right here, right now??tongue

Staff are aware and my understanding is a better system is being planned but will take time.

Most of the content is filtered so of course it's not being seen as often but the use of a filtered term in an innocent context is miniscule in comparison to them being used abusively.

in bold, your response is yet another vague term that is an excuse for staff. if they wanted to do it, it would be done. cc has implemented many so-called features during the time (over a year) us adults get flagged for simply having a conversation.

IF it is true that innocent use of id*ot and neg*o (and other words) are miniscule, that means the site is being overrun by kids and cc is catering to them.

in other words, your response seems to prove things many of us suspected about two years ago and now assume are true.

Lmao 😂 it's bad enough your getting a warning message after reporting some id_ot's thread, that the heading you ooperdaisied forgot to edit!

The migration of a plastic bag. Makes me want to cry everytime I watch this.

I watched this intently with the last 8% battery power remaining on my phone. That bag belongs at home, in my back pocket. All plastic bags need a warm home.

Cloth bags, bunny. Cloth bags. Plastic is terrible, horrible, no good, and very bad for the environment.

Doesn't work well for fish and other wet and/or 'fragrant' items. I reuse my bags until they end up as trash carriers. Also a cloth bag on my head in the rain wouldn't be effective, except for the laughs

Plastic "junk"! Get it?? JUNK?? It's hilarious!

After three years on chess.com, I asked them a question. They punished me by removing my profile picture and locking it so I can't add a different one...

There are too many accounts to monitor all avatars but if you post or contact support they will see that and action it if it's against the TOS.
