Edited to clarify I'm talking abt bughouse specifically. Assuming that's what OP means.

Block ppl who ignore chats or who quit mid-game. Helps to weed things out. You can resign right away to avoid games with +0/-16 results (insane when you're playing w/ someone who doesn't care). The real problem I think is so many players not really serious about team playing. They're just goofing around or have no idea how to play the game. Wish there was a certain tier players had to reach to qualify for bughouse - you have to demonstrate basic knowledge of chess rules & show ability/desire to team play.

In bughouse, once you have achieved a decent rating, you mostly get paired with newbies who frequently quit mid-game or do extremely random things (feed queen to opp for no apparent reason, etc.). 

Ah. I haven't played bughouse myself, so I wouldn't know. That would make sense.
