Yes, I have had Chess Dreams. I can't remember the positions exactly when I wake up, but I do remember that in the dream I can vividly picture the board in 2d and analyze variations clearly as if I had the Analysis Board right in front of me. I wish I could tap into this kind of visualization when I'm awake!
THE ONLY THING THAT I ALWAYS DREAM ABOUT OVER AND OVER IS SEX, I WAKE UP HAPPY EVERY MORINING , THEN I PLAY CHESS :-)

Very funny Gameover4U2!
No HypnoDisk, I have only solved complex math in my sleep. I thought those dreams were strange. And I have not played chess long enough to have much memorized so that I could actually work things out in my mind. I'm better at math. I posted this post because I was wondering about chess dreams from those that were way more experienced than I am in chess. I found it curious that they may have played so much that they dream about it, like I sometimes do with math.

Steinlaus, the kind of dream I'm referring to can be quite amazing. It's when your brain solves a very tough problem in your sleep. It has happened to me a few times but never w chess. Was just curious about it from others. ;-)

I do get dreams of chess...generally the moves are brilliant ones...but the dream keeps shifting from the game to elsewhere...so it is very confusing....usually the dream is similar to moves actually played the day before...
