Dear fellow Americans DO NOT PANIC OVER THE WUHAN FLU PANDEMIC.

DID you know that more people die over the normal  flu every day than do with the WUHAN FLU!

Well, let's start by calling it what it is, COVID-19.

The "normal flu" (sic) has a much lower mortality rate (about .1%) versus an estimated mortality rate of about 2.5% for COVID-19. So, while 2.5% is still a small number, this makes COVID-19 25 times more deadly the a flu (there are several strains of flu - there is no normal flu).

COVID-19 seems to be more contagious than the flu and COVID-19 is a new virus, an unknown. There are vaccinations available for the flu (some work well if the right strains have been used, otherwise they are less effective). There is nothing for COVID.

No one should panic over COVID-19, or anything else, as panic kills. But we do need to take precautions and be smart about how we do things for the time being. Stay safe, stay well . . .
