You can't yet. Premium members only access at this point. It's not quite finished yet anyway. Getting close, but the last time I looked two modules, the ChessMentor and Live Chess were both missing in action. After all the delays I'm sure Erik isn't gonna release it until it's as bug free as possible.

New to the site...
How does this work? I can "try the new chess.com (v3)" with a link on the bottom of my page. Is this the beta that only premium members have access to?
Also, is there no live chess for v3 yet? If I want to play live, I have to use the current chess.com?
Lastly, I see someone mention downloading something. v3, when it's complete, will be a downloadable client?

Not client based, still browser based. Yes the link is to the beta version for premium members. Last time I looked, live was still not available. Even after V3 is released to all members, we'll still probably have the option of either version for a few months until all the bugs are worked out. Have fun!

We're still working on live - but hopefully I'll be done soon.
