The only Teacher, based one’s discernment and inspiration is God, The Holy Spirit. That’s why there should not be different versions of His Holy Word, especially when Holy means to revere. Seek and ye shall find, knock and the door shall be open unto you.

even jesus' name is a mistranslation.

when will they redo that?

What should it be translated as, then?

Well you try and learn Hebrew then and read the original scriptures then, otherwise, there will be different versions.

how about the holy ghost?

breath was mistranslated as ghost.

so no trinity.

will they "redo" the trinity any time soon?

As said before, God certainly would have Ordained what’s to have been ordained, that I find to be the 1611 King James Version.

But we KNOW there are errors in the king James version, so god couldn't have overseen it.

oh yeah?

so god just let his word be misrepresented for centuries and centuries, because he was lazy?

then suddenly in 1611 he got around to things?

This means that the 1611 "word" is perfect yes?

or does god make mistakes even when he puts his mind to things?

for example; what is his son's name?

Avatar of TheBestBeer_Root

No... those errors man did, but His Word is not the errors, and them restoring is them being more enlightened to recognize what was needing fixed.

No. The Bible we have is an imperfect copy of a perfect book.

You're the one pointing out errors here. Don't ask me to do your job for you!

Avatar of regi-mental

well raping a child is certainly at the top of my list.

judges 11 verses 29-39 is a horrifically sick example of human sacrifice.

building a torture chamber in his basement is really creepy too.

And did God condone this behavior?

Avatar of TheBestBeer_Root

By discernfully seeking you find as to your discernment. It’s being taught His Word by Him alone, such seeking.
