My rice cooker has a very smooth lining.
Easy to clean. Especially if a little oil has been used in the cooking.
I wonder if that's teflon.
Covid-19 Discussion (moderated)

Probably glazed fired ceramic would be my guess!!!
I hope so.
If the teflon gets me it gets me.

Covid seems to be spiking in Calif.... https://www.yahoo.com/news/virus-wants-live-why-californias-100014528.html

Centuries ago the common cold killed natives of Hawaii.
Common cold brought by visitors and settlers.
But the immune systems of the surviving Hawaiians adapted or were already strong enough.
Covid would still be a pandemic if that were not the case with most people today - against Covid viruses and their variants.
But it took time. Dangerous time.
Vaccinations - masks - lockdowns - distancing giving people that window of possibility for their immune systems to adapt and/or to otherwise win their war with the virus.

That was the year before Covid-19, which showed up at the end of the year. I made it all the way through 2020 without getting it and then an under-the-nose mask-wearing coworker popped into my cubicle at the end of the year.

Ailens.
Hey I like that spelling!
