Darkness

Darkness covered the land, dark things fluttered over head, the wind hissed sorrowfully, and all of life seemed to hold its breath. Wickedness had grown and grown until it had chocked out almost all good things. Nothing green was alive, the trees all stood like great phantom fillers, like ghosts hiding in the shadows. Pain and sorrow were the only things felt, and the darkness was all that was seen.
No one dared stand against even the shadow of the enemies for so great and powerful were they that they seemed undefinable. There was only one who dared to fight these evil forces, day after day he fought, until sweat and blood poured from him, and still he did not back down. The only thing to fear is fear itself, and fear would not prevent him from bending every last bone in his body to destroy the greatest of enemies.
Fire consumed all that still stood, crackling and hissing it destroyed all remaining life, armies marched through the fire unharmed all with the purpose and full desire to destroy him who stood against them. Will power and hope were all that kept him on his feet. Even those who were supposed to be for him turned and fled, no one could he trust. Everyone and everything were bent against him, and yet he never gave up, still would he, as long as he lived, fight to save his enemies from them selves, this is true love, courage and bravery!
