this baby kookaburra fell out of the nest last year. We returned him and this year he is happily scratching up our garden in search of food ... I wonder if he even remembers the ordeal

They are definitely iconic birds here in Australia.. I plan on getting a couple more pics of the babies in the hollow today, they probably have most of their feathers by now
