Don’t look at the one star reviews, look at the average star rating, and then at how many total ratings there are for that book. That’s a better indicator.

You absolutely do not have bad taste — you just have taste. And taste is deeply personal, not a math test where there’s a “correct answer.”

#11 Five Survive is pretty good. My friend forced me to read it not too long ago. Good girls guide to murder is also supposedly pretty good but I haven’t read it yet. They’re both pretty popular.
Read wuthering heights, moby d, and Don Quixote if you like old literature stuff I guess............

Most modern books are much worse than older ones so the reviews could be posted by ppl used to older books.
