Do You Like Math?

A lot of people consider all chess players like math just because of our nature and our mind, is this true?

I like chess but not like math. Too hard 

I think in math, they straight away teach you grandmaster stuff. Also in math  you have no idea what final solution will be. But in chess at least you have idea what you are doing

i'm an expert at math i know things like 1+1=0 and 5*5=10 and 1-1=2 and 5/5=25 and that pedestrian > cyclist

I think math is considerably easier than chess. Change my mind

I love maths. I have recently finished writing transitive closure electrical model software for rail network.

In multiple schools the chess clubs are run by math teachers. I don't know if it's a coincidence or that many people who play like math

There are any speed systems for arithmetic. You can learn the Trachtenberg system in a few days.

26*34 =3793 because (n-4)(n+4)=n^2 + 2893

I, see, I think that the fact that some chess player like math is something more personal, I don’t think these two are very associated in likes. Thanks to ALL for answering my question.

For me, the math you do in school is boring. For example solve 1 problem. Ok now solve 100 more just like it but very slightly different.

But "word problems" in math / problems involving math are fun.
