I was talking to a friend about Lasker's Manual of Chess and we eventually tried imagining who Lasker was as a person. The subject of his religious beliefs was especially unclear. While I suggested that he was most likely a theist due to the time period and place he lived in, I don't know the truth. Do you know anything about this or Lasker's personal life in general?
