Youre trying to lecture me on my own country where violent M**ders happen everyday? It WAS safe 10 years ago, right now it’s very unsafe. Since you asked, yes, I’m lecturing you about your own country, since apparently, you don’t realize that you live in one of the safest countries in the world with little (very, very, little) gun crime compared to everywhere else in the world. Gun violence does make violence ‘go up’, which is why the countries with the best gun control ate the safest countries in the world with an extremely low death rate. It isn’t rocket science, my dear.
I’m going to go back to the USA being one of the less safe counties in the world, despite all the money in the world to make it safer. Just think for a second why it may be that it’s like that here.
So the person who got violently stabbed to D**th outside my own house was just imagination, maybe you should listen to the person experiencing it live and not wikipedia. Again, it might not be the safest because the people are allowed to k*** the people trying to hurt them or their family. Gun control only limits law obiding citizens from possesing one, not violent criminals. And once again, people will find other ways to hurt people, guns are contrary to popular believe not the problem, criminals will either obtain them illegaly or use easy to get items as kitchen knives, machetes or basebal bats

Also, you said gun deaths were down in austria, thats not good, people are now being put through pain by being stabbed, way more violent, murders are way up, gun crime is down. Dont look at the statistic you want to believe, but the one thats true
If we ban guns, the only people who are going to have guns will be violent criminals. If they are breaking into your house and want to shoot you, the government taking away your only means of self-defense isn't going to lower the crime rate. The belief that we should ban guns for civilians isn't logically well-grounded.
So tell me; Why is the USA wayyy less safe than countries in Eastern Europe? Why are the gun rates higher?

I looked at all sorts of statistics. Gun death rates, public safety, homicide rates, and more.
Austria, among lots of other countries, is extremely safe. Murders and stabbing happen everywhere. This isn’t a dream world.
In Switzerland we have firearms when we finish military service, apparently the leftists can't stand that, real madmen!

Maybe because we have people trying to smuggle all types of stuff into our territory? Because of our culture prioritizing political beliefs over treating people like people? Everyone deserves a second chance. Prisoners deserve a chance to change themselves, and the USA does extremely well in doing their best to set up good counseling, mental health, and support for prisoners.
But that’s a whole other thing.
