Friends?

My " Friends on line " count is consistently low ! Has site now developed telepathy?

Yes all ok....the stated no. is always one point low. Attempting to catch staff attn. but they are much too busy at moment to notice !

Where do you see the count of your friends online?

A couple of points that might help your cause:

• use the Help&Support forum category - not Off-Topic to highlight an issue like this
• make the topic title more explicit e.g. Count of Friends Online is Wrong!

Hello Art, you are outstandingly THE most helpful and knowledgable person on this site and I  am forever grateful.The nos. have recently appeared  at bottom  right of page but are not always on show.

Could you copy the precise URL of the page containing the count please? I can't find it on my home page (http://www.chess.com/home/), nor on my friends page (http://www.chess.com/home/friends.html) nor on my online chess page (http://www.chess.com/echess/myhome.html).

Hi Art I really hve no business posting since I can't even produce an url. , precise or otherwise. Sorry to  be such a nuisance, now think the numbers discrepancy   displayed are actually no. of friends on meebo... a system I don't use having found it too difficult .So friends on line could be meebo using friends not simply from friends list and that explains the difference.

No problemo. If you can't count on friends, ... you have the wrong number of friends.
