1. if you fill a glass cup with white vinegar and put a D-cell battery in it and leave it for about 12 minutes, the glass will be flexible and not crack when you squeeze it.

2. if you are ever out of AAA batteries and you have everything else but them, take that square one that you use for fire alarms and CAREFULLY cut it open. inside will be 6 AAA batteries that are slightly smaller than the store kind but will work anyway.

3. if you take a D-cell and push it towards a AA of AAA, the smaller one will roll away, without the larger one touching it.

4. if you need 2 batteries for say a remote, but you only have 1, then take some tin foil, and make a copy of the battery that you have. shove it in the spot where another battery is needed and your remote will work.

if you eat batteries they taste awful. dont' eat them. theyr' also very BAD for you.
You could light a fire with a 9 volt battery and gum wrapper
