$200 a pop for one ride.
Your idea wouldn't work EE.
Just the sag alone would beat it. Riders would be stuck over the East River or whatever.
As a commuter thing? Ha.
Even in Dubai there was probably a lot of objection ...
Those ziplines are a hellicopter and aircraft hazard.
A bad one.
Bigshots in downtown Manhattan fly in in seaplanes and land at east river docks.
Or they did. Maybe that's been stopped now.

I already specified there would be an initial steep drop for the first 500 feet or so off the Freedom Tower to guarantee speed, before it levels off to a more gradual 5-9 degree bank or whatever over the rivers to Brooklyn/Jersey.

wouldn't work for your part of brooklyn. Much too far.
Just the weight of the cable alone would be prohibitive.
But I already am certain enough that you don't really mean any of this stuff ...
you have an agenda something like noodles does ...

Wrong I'm only 3 miles from 1 WTC in a straight line. Doing the trigonometry 1,200-1,700 feet is high enough that it could be steep enough to cover the distance without "snagging" from friction.

3 miles would be the longest zipline in the world. You sure about this?

Why does this keep getting bumped?

Elroch can fact-check the math and coefficients of static and kinetic friction with the materials involved and the motion vectors..etc.
