Robert_New_Alekhine

PI JOKES!!!!!!

Robert_New_Alekhine

I like this one:

Robert_New_Alekhine

What happens when you add 'pi' to the orginal version of a software?

You get its pirated version!!!

...Naturally, these are only SOME pi jokes. There are an infinite number of them, all equally irrational

Please refrain from bad language, at least on my threads. Please edit your comment or I will block you (I have already warned you of this!).

I was pretty sure something awful was going to happen on this date, because of its proximity to Pi. Like the thing with the Mayan calendar; but I knew that was bogus. But this...this is serious. If we carried our dates out a few digits further - I thought that it would affect the earth's orbit because it is not circular.

Happy Pi Day to you too!

Senior-Lazarus_Long

It will come "around" again soon enough.Cool

3.141592653589793238 is how much I've memorized.

DoctorStrange

Happy pi day!

SonOfThunder2

3.14159265358979324  is my peak.

zuvery53

ok .. i like pi too.. but,i dont understand why they make us forced to calculate circle by using pi. as we can never get the true number of circle. we can use only 3.14 or just 3 in exams. no, never and ever you can calculate it. not 3.14... just say π  :)

Robert_New_Alekhine

FOr some reason people like memorizing it.

Yes,  but why say "crap" when you can easily use a less vulgar word?

mromanian

Happy pi day, I was a bit late though.

Yeah. It's mainly for setting world records. Many people have spent a lot of time memorizing at least several thousand digits of pi in order to beat previous records and to set new ones. For calculating, 3.14 is accurate enough.

etc2000chess

I do not plan on memorizing it.

mromanian

Same here etc2000chess.
