With you friend’s help, destroy all the portals. Make 1 new portal where you like in one dimension, and see where it links in the other. If you make more portals, things get confusing. Would also be good to build something to protect the portals.
(If you want to use portals to farm obsidian quicker, do it farther away)
If portals are still being weird, turn on ‘show coordinates’ in settings and remember that nether cords roughly equals overworld cords divided by 8. (Portals can link to the same one if they’re too close). I prefer to keep show coordinates on all the time, it’s very useful.

#9 Yeah. All the portals already are broken, but they're all in the way, it's just obsidian everywhere, and it always gets in the way and it looks hideous. Even if I wanted to mine it, it takes too long and it's out in the open

Okie I can help
First, just find a new village cause that portal situation is unfortunate. I had like it link to a random forest like 50, blocks away. Just write down the cords of the fortress, and just build some sort of safe passage to it from a new village. If you aren’t confident with surviving in the nether, just make a breeder and trade with librarians and armorers if u want to get full gear. It’s a bit harder on bedrock cause there are less dupers and you can’t pie ray for trial chambers, but raids give a good amount of emeralds on hard mode, and aren’t very hard if u just fortify.

I use bedrock edition and I play in my Normal difficulty survival world with 1 friend and my useless brother, and as of right now, I'm in the middle of the nether fortress, with too much problems.
1: My base is a village, it looks like crap, no villagers, most of it is destroyed, and everything is just sad. I don't want to move from it though because it has a nether portal that brings me to a nether portal I built in the fortress.
2: As I mentioned in problem 1, my village portal leads to the fortress. But when I try to go back in that same portal, it always manages to put me in a random Deepslate cave. And guess what? I managed to get a creeper to destroy the nether portal in the cave, and a new one spawned tight next to the broken portal!!
3: The first time I went to the nether, I spawned in nowhere. I had to climb up using a ladder. Everything was swell, you climbed up the ladder, you'd go along my beautiful andesite path to the nether fortress and get there! However, I forget how, but later in the game, that portal got destroyed. (I think a creeper went through the portal) And another portal spawned right next to it. However, that got destroyed too. When that got destroyed by a ghast, another one decided to spawn on top!!! And one spawned in a inconveniently open spot that I had to risk my diamond pickaxe just to break that portal. Now you know I built a portal in the fortress, but now that area is an obsidian wasteland. (There's a literal 3 stack portal!!)
4. I got nether warts but then again the stupid nether portal brings me to the middle of nowhere so I lose them all, and I really need to brew potions!!
5. I need more resources. I'm way too lazy on that though.
6. When I happen to portal into the cave, about 500 zombies 500 skeletons and 5000 creepers go through the portal. And when I come back I get a lovely surprise.
