Help With My Story

I am collaborating with MugOfAllTrades to create a 'proper' story on this chess website. 

With that being said, let the story begin. I'll pass you over to my fellow companion now; MugOfAllTrades. 

When we announce that the story is finished, we would appreciate your comments and thoughts. Be nice though, don't be rude or inappropriate. Only constructive criticism.  

Oh golly where do we start? 

i could start us off, but maybe we should decide on a topic? 

HMMMMMM. What do you suggest? Animals?

Or food? So many topics

Sure! Let’s elaborate on this idea?  

Food is an interesting topic, cooks and kitchens

There once was a chef

Who dreamed of opening a world famous café, and becoming the best cook in the world. 

He worked hard through university to get a degree to qualify. 

And then at last; he did, with much effort. It wasn’t an easy road; however.

There was someone who was jealous of his wealth and popularity. 

And this individual, sought to bring our chef here down; and would do anything to get what they wanted, and eliminate all rivalry that faces them.

So with this, the mysterious stranger plotted to kidnap this highly admired chef. 

But alas; their plan would take much preparation. Perhaps even months, in the meanwhile, our chef has started looking for the right spot , to make all his dreams turn into reality.

Months pass and he finds the perfect spot to build his career. He becomes rich and famous and this makes the stranger extremely jealous. He stalks the chef for months before making his move

One beautiful spring evening , the chef is closing up shop, getting ready to go home, it was a successful day, he had a lot of customers, almost everyone left positive reviews, and he got invited to a famous cooking show, they want him as a judge on the panel! This is the opportunity of a lifetime, he can not fail, or be late! 

He heads home with much excitement for the next day; the day when he is to be on the show. He is too excited to notice someone following him. 

He dreams about the future, and about trying new things, and maybe touring the world one day, though it might take time. And lots of planning... suddenly he returns to reality, what was that? 

“i swear I just heard something....” he mumbles.

He shrugs it off and gets in his car to go home. When he arrives, he grabs his key to unlock his front door. He thought he heard something else but figured he was just being paranoid. 

“the excitement must be getting to me..” he gives a hushed and nervous laugh, and quickly unlocks his door and rushes inside, whilst trying to appear as if all is fine.. 

he bends down to pick up his wallet that fell out of his pocket, but before he gets up..
