Hockey WCH discussion

Have you been following this years hockey WCH? If you have feel free to discuss anything conserning it here.

To me, Canada seems to be the strongest team at the moment but Russia hasn't been bad either and they played very well in the euro hockey tour too. I belive a final between Canada and Russia is very likely but I'm not sure if that final would end the same way it did last year. I would keep Russia and Canada as favourites but I also think that Sweden, Finland, USA and the Czech Republic could fight for the gold. Slovakia has been weak in this tournament even if they, in my opinion, could have had potential to build a strong team. Belarus has surprised us all with their performances but I don't think that they can play their way to the gold medal, but you never know, they might keep surprising!

So far in the tournament, I would give "thumbs up" to Belarus and "thumbs down" to Germany. They have so far lost all their games and they would, unless they wouldn't host the WCH next year, be eliminated.
