What is homeschooling like?
I’ve always wondered. Do have contact with other kids? How long are the days? How hard is it?
Avatar of Apple-juice17
1.) contact-not really
2.)Long days not really
3.)Not hard at all cuz you can work at own pace

How do you get assignments/tests?

Straight from the book, if it’s not in the book, you don’t have to do it

No one has violated them. There are some topics I feel it is important to proactively remind others about the community policy.

Do you have specified ‘grades’ like 1st 2st etc. or is it kinda just all connected?

I love homeschooling! I personally have an online curriculum so I don’t use books. How mine works is, for math I have live classes but for the other subjects I have online “lessons” then I take notes on and then take quizzes with. About the socialization thing, there are these things called co-ops and it’s where a bunch of homeschool kids get together some days of the week and socialize. Also church is a thing if the family is into that. Hops this helps :)

The amount of stuff you have to learn is really not a set point, you just have to pass a big test you take at the end of the year to show you learned stuff and move onto the next grade. I’ve also heard you have to do school a minimum of something days a month but I haven’t really stuck to that XD
