Personally, I’ll just say this: Don’t be afraid. If they reject you, that’s completely fine, there’s plenty of others out there. But, there is a chance that the girl you like might have a mutual opinion on you, and in that case, they’re probably as anxious to ask you out as you are, and you two are just building up the courage. Either way, the only way you can really know whether or not it’ll work is to try. The worst that can happen is that they’ll reject you, and then you leave with the knowledge that they’re not worth any more of your time. While ignorance is bliss, the curiosity and anxiety can also eat away at you. So, while it might feel embarrassing, uncomfortable, or scary, you only need to go through that once. Just do it and get it over with. You might be surprised by the answer you get.

You talk to her and if she keeps talking to you you know she likes you. She might only like you as a friend though.
