It's hard to believe that anyone who has played 3,141 blitz games in a year has one (a significant other) unless you are in some kind of distance relationship. You should be happy if you have a relationship where you have significant time to pursue your own interests.
At any rate, if you go to tournaments, you will notice how rarely one sees couples. Even for casual players, I believe it will never happen unless it happened right at the start (when you are both going out of your way to please the other.)
