Hi guys recently ive been playing alot of shogi and i was wondering how one becomes a professional shogi player in the usa. I read an artical that i found online about it and it said stuff about how its a very small group of people that are professionals in shogi and that you have to participate in these shogi tournaments but i got the impression that you have to be in japan to become pro. If anyone knows anything about this please share with me what you know, basically im asking how do you become a professional shogi player in america??
