reason summary: above average for the time period

full reason: the song's instrumentals have a bunch of things going on, giving it a more diy aesthetic to it in a time period where if music didn't follow the formula record labels knew would make it big, the song/album flopped. i'm glad this band took off because if not, i fear the problem is that this makes it so the instrumentals don't progress as smoothly as i think they wanted it to. the singing is pretty good from every member who participated, also shoutout to the sax solo at the end (though i didnt like the sudden ending).

full reason: this song is a strict upgrade of the execution of all the concepts from after the love is gone except for the sudden ending, which in my opinion i'm glad is gone. the instrumentals keep the diy vibe without being more random than anything, the singing is similar in quality but i would say it's slightly better, the chorus was catchier which is a plus because it's a good chorus, and all it all it's a better song
