Flooding would be a problem though…

Dry land doesnt soak up water easy

So not good news

ESPECIALLY after a drought flooding is extremely likely

I hope they all get drifted way by the flood.

From their house to a river free ride.

A few weeks ago I stumbled on a site that maps winds at various altitudes as well as ocean currents. It has other info as well. It's one of the most interesting sites I've bumped into in some time.
https://earth.nullschool.net/#current/wind/surface/level/orthographic=-114.22,22.30,393

I found this one years ago but it only covers the USA and it's not a secure page.

I know. It was just a heads up. Some people are sensitive to such things. (like us retired SysAdmins)

I do, that's why I listed the site.

I live in the hurricane zone and right now, there's a little wind and a teeny amount of rain. For the most part, this is much ado about nothing - the weather people in SoCal get agitated if there's ONE drop of rain!

Hurricanes are nature’s way of making up for deserts

as a winter and rain enjoyer, I do not care that I am currently flooded with 3 inches of rain 💀
