hurt/heal baseball version

So I know that many people of played hurt/heal before, most likely nytiks big game. I decided I wanted to change it, and make it baseball oriented. So you vote for the player you would like to deduct points from, hurt, and you vote for the player you would like to give points to, heal. But in this baseball version, there will be rounds as well as divisions. There will be 10 players in the AL and 10 players in the NL. 5 will be eliminated in round1 (ALDS and NLDS), and 3 in the next (ALCS and NLCS, which also tell's league champions), and then the World Series will be voted on betweent the two league champions. In addition, when a new round starts points go back to where they were at the start. And here are the players that you will be hurting and healing!

I don't really like the Yankee lean so much...maybe I'll look at some of the names and come back when I develop an opinion on those ones.

hurt - Cy Young (he might be the all time winningest pitcher but...also all-time losingest. Over 400 losses...seriously?)

heal - Jackie Robinson (I shouldn't need to go into detail on this one.)

Wait, I don't get it. You just give points to people,or you take points in order to give it to someone else? Baseball really isn't as dangerous some people think. The likly-hood of a line drive coming straight for your face is slim to none.

First of all... what does this have to do with chess? Anyway:

Hurt: Carl Yastrzemski. Only had a .285 batting average and .462 slugging.

Heal: Babe Ruth. Sure, Barry Bonds and Hank Aaron had more homers than the Bambino, but Ruth hit some of those as a pitcher. He hit in the start of his career in the dead ball era, which lessened his total. Babe Ruth was the first real home run hitter in baseball, and he had a good attitude too, like hitting homers for sick kids.

Hurt - Babe Ruth (an evil man who cursed the manifestation of good to defect to the epitomy of evil)

Heal - Willie Mays (I know, not a Red Sox player, but the Red Sox are great as a team, with chemistry, teamwork, and all sorts of good qualities.  As an individual, Willie Mays was the greatest all-around player of all time, in the batter's box and in the field.)
